As with your accommodation you have total control over your food choices and costs according to your tastes, needs and budget.
Rest Camp Restaurants
All the camps have excellent restaurants with beautiful big decks where you can sit back and absorb the beautiful surroundings, the tranquillity, the great views and the fresh air. It makes meals into a great bushveld experience!
The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide selection of delicious choices. You can also enjoy a light lunch, salads, pastas, burgers, cold platters and specialty gourmet sandwiches. And as for the desserts…! You can arrange takeaways of wraps, sandwiches, salads, pizza and sweet treats… a great way to eat delicious food out in the bush while on safari.
“Boma Braais” & “Bush Braais”
A Boma Braai is a braai (barbecue) in the boma (a traditional enclosed area) in one of the rest camps. The chefs prepare a delicious meal, which includes a choice of three meats grilled to perfection as well as salads, breads and desserts.
Selected camps also offer “Bush Braais” – a braai (barbecue) around an open fire surrounded by nothing but the bush (and a couple of armed rangers!)
You also have the option of private catering. We arrange it for you, but it is dependent upon which region of the park – and in which rest camps – you are staying.
Cost / Quotation
Eating at the delightful camp restaurants, the cost is to your account and is extremely handy and cost effective – and useful for those with specific dietary needs.
If you choose private catering we will give you an all-inclusive quotation.
